It's the Relationship that heals

I’m a qualified integrative counsellor specialising in a  relational, trauma-informed practice. My training included core counselling skills, supervised clinical placement and  I hold  recognised counselling qualifications. Over the years, I’ve worked in partnership with a wide range of services, including NHS drug and alcohol services, voluntary sector projects and private rehabilitation centres in England and Thailand,  supporting people through transitions, recovery journeys, and the longer term emotional effects trauma can leave behind.

My approach is integrative and relational. This means the therapy is co-created and adapts to meet each clients needs, rather than expecting to fit into one model of therapy. I draw on person-centred principles, trauma-informed methods and an understanding of how early relationships and attachment patterns can shape how we experience ourselves and others. I believe therapy is not something done to a person but developed with them: a collaborative process that honours each client’s experience, agency and pace.

I am also experienced in creating and delivering structured group sessions that are engaging, confidential, and grounded in real-world challenges, encouraging participants to build self-awareness, reduce reactivity, and improve relationships both personally and professionally.
